About Us

As a result, today this church is ideally positioned geographically to minister to Jenks, Glenpool, Bixby, and Tulsa. We are now a newly invigorated congregation with a suburbia oriented presence. The church atmosphere has changed, but the beliefs and convictions have remained true to Christ’s teachings. Our congregation believes God is leading us to grow as we offer genuine ministry to our surrounding communities.

Worship

The goal of worship is to encounter God. Music, drama and preaching are all done with the purpose of leading worshippers to express their personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Southside’s worship music blends hymns and praise choruses respecting our heritage while maintaining a contemporary emphasis. 

Sermons

Our pastor delivers a teaching oriented presentation supported with Power-Point and printed sermon notes that are included in the Communicator. The focus is to help believers grow in their personal faith by giving practical messages to guide in everyday living. 

New Believer?

When a person first becomes a Christian much development must take place in order for them to become all God wants them to be. We have, therefore, established a special ministry designed to provide the new believer with the personal one-on-one assistance needed for them to comfortably enter into the life of the church. This ministry, called “Operation Multiplication,” also provides an opportunity for many seasoned believers to develop a precise means of being involved in helping a new believer grow.
