Beginning in verse 18, Paul uses the term \u201creconcile\u201d to describe what it means to have a relationship with God. Reconciled means that two parties who are separated from each other are now brought together in harmony. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2 Corinthians 5:18\u201320 (ESV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup>18<\/sup>&nbsp;All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; <sup>19<\/sup>&nbsp;that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. <sup>20<\/sup>&nbsp;Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. &nbsp;We have been reconciled to God through Christ.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<sup>18<\/sup>&nbsp;\u201cAll this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. &nbsp;We have been given a <strong>MINISTRY<\/strong>&nbsp;of reconciliation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<sup>18<\/sup>&nbsp;\u201c\u2026and gave us the ministry of reconciliation;\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;We are to help other become right with God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. &nbsp;We have been given a <strong>MESSAGE<\/strong>&nbsp;of reconciliation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<sup>19<\/sup>&nbsp;\u201c\u2026and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;That message is stated as this:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<sup>19<\/sup>&nbsp;\u201cthat is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;trespasses against them,\u2026..\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. &nbsp;We have been given a <strong>METHOD<\/strong>&nbsp;of reconciliation:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<sup>20<\/sup>&nbsp;\u201cTherefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As representatives of God, we are to implore people to be reconciled to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When was the last time you implored someone to get right with God?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today, we have an unusual opportunity to share Christ through many communications tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Let\u2019s take advantage of this season and share Jesus with our lost friends and relatives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Most of 2 Corinthians Chapter 5 has to do with how God wants to use us to bring others to Christ.
