1. Pray Continually and Consistently
Ephesians 6:18 (NIV)
“And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-17 (NIV)
16 “Be joyful always; 17 pray continually”

2. Pray with Faith

I want to share with you a bold statement: God does not respond to our prayers; He responds to our faith!  If our prayers are not an expression of our faith, then they are empty words.

Hebrews 11:6
“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”

Philippians 4:6-7
6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

3. Pray with Confidence:
Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)
“Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.”

1 John 5:14-15
14 “This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.”
